10 Things We’re Grateful For in 2024
As 2024 wraps up, we’re reflecting on a year filled with purpose, partnerships, and progress. From professional milestones to personal moments of joy, here’s our top ten list of moments that stood out.
01 | Advancing Equity in Breast Health
Partnering with The WISDOM Study at UCSF to reach a younger, more diverse population, inviting participation in a project designed to revolutionize breast cancer risk assessment and prevention. Read more here.
02 | New Life on the Farm
Two calves and seven piglets joined a team member’s farm, bringing moments of delight (and maybe some chaos) to our year.
04 | All Too Inspired
We soaked up 44 unforgettable songs at the Eras Tour, where Taylor Swift reminded us how magical it is to truly connect with your audience.
05 | Equipping a Diverse, Future-Ready Workforce
Together with Engineering Momentum, we inspired and equipped students from underrepresented backgrounds to succeed in engineering careers, driving diversity in the workforce of tomorrow.
06 | Cowgirl up!
We got a masterclass in grit from one of our team members, after a tumble from the saddle, a broken hip—and quite literally getting back on the horse.
07 | Stewarding the Land
Partnering with the Real Organic Project, we amplified their farmer-led mission for healthier food systems and collaborated with American Farmland Trust to rally support for farmland protection. We also connected with producers and advocates at the Regenerative Food Systems Investments (RFSI) community, finding renewed energy in the push for regenerative agriculture.
08 | Joy of Giving Back to Our Communities
From volunteering in soup kitchens to serving at our school’s parent teacher organization to supporting local political campaigns by providing general campaign assistance (e.g., voter outreach, organizing events, and community engagement efforts), we were reminded this year of the power of showing up for our communities.
09 | Ushering in the New Industrial Revolution
We teamed up with Unless to craft a bold, future-forward identity, consistent with their vision for transforming industrial sectors and impacting society’s biggest challenges—like climate change, supply chain resilience, and the future of work.
10 | Connecting for Greater Impact
Through Office Hours for Good, we give back by volunteering our time to provide guidance, mentorship, and strategic insights to industries, communities, and organizations, who can benefit from our experience. It's our way of fostering growth, innovation, and support in meaningful ways, one conversation at a time.
